Preparedness Materials in Various Languages

The VDEM Public Affairs Office can help localities and volunteer organizations with specialized materials and strategies to reach Spanish-speaking residents. Spanish-language preparedness information is available through and through brochures and handouts.

In addition, the Ready Virginia campaign produced a simple handout on family emergency preparedness in the top 10 languages spoken in Virginia (other than English and Spanish): Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Korean, Russian, Tagalog (Philippines) and Vietnamese.
