First Aid with CPR Training opportunity

Have you ever wondered what would happen if someone in your family needed CPR or First Aid? What if you witnessed an incident that required the skills necessary to sustain someone's life?

Would you be ready to intervene and potentially save someone's life?

If the answer is "no" (or "I'm not sure"), listen up!

We will be holding two, one-day classes for First Aid with CPR. Classes will be held at the Annandale Volunteer Fire Department, Company 8 (7128 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA).

If you have been thinking about taking a CPR class, this is it!

You will have two opportunity to participate in this training on Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25th, 2010 from 9am to 4pm. These are independent classes, and you only need to participate in one full-day course.

There will be numerous rest breaks, and a lunch break.

During the class, you will learn how to recognize and respond to an emergency, administer proper and safe First Aid care, check a conscious person for life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations, control bleeding, and much more!

Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a certificate covering CPR (valid for 1 year) and Standard First Aid (valid for 3 years).

Better yet, the class is free for CERT Members!

The deadline for registration is April 16th.
