House Committee Webcast: FEMA Deputy Admin. Timothy Manning Briefs on Community Preparedness- Oct 1 @ 10am ET

The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, Subcommittee on Emergency Communications, Preparedness and Response is holding a hearing on “Preparedness: State of Citizen and Community Preparedness” on Thursday, October 1, 2009 @ 10am ET. This hearing will be available via a live webcast at the following website: http://hsc.house.gov/about/schedule.asp.

The purpose of this hearing is to assess the state of the nation’s citizen and community preparedness in light of FEMA’s August 2009 report entitled, “Personal Preparedness in America: Findings from the 2009 Citizen Corps National Survey”.
