Tell Your Friends, Family and Coworkers: JOIN CERT!

CERT volunteers are trained to respond to emergency situations in their communities and workplaces. They provide critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members deliver basic emergency medical treatment, disaster fire suppression, and light search and rescue services to their community until first responders arrive. CERT members also are trained in disaster preparedness and perform non-emergency projects to improve the safety of their communities. A 28-hour training course at the Fire and Rescue Academy is required.

If you have friends, family or coworkers who may be interested in joining in and getting involved, please have them email Dana Powers to sign up!!
